Parasites of Heaven by Leonard Cohen
Preferred this slightly over The Spice-Box of Earth.

My first time reading Pizarnik. Wow!! Such a dark and somewhat dizzying collection. I love the recurrent themes throughout these pieces. It's sad to see how much she was suffering. Beautiful imagery throughout. I need to learn more about Pizarnik and her work!! Fans of Clarice Lispector (like me :D) would really love her work. Considering the rise in popularity of Lispector among readers online lately, I'm hoping Pizarnik gets more attention.
Slowly reading through Sylvie Simmons's biography of my favorite musician, so I thought I'd read some of the poetry collections of his that I've never read.
Watched with friends in Budapest.
Really beautiful film, just like all of the Tarkovsky I've watched. This one stuck with me for days after watching it. I think I watched it at the perfect time in my life, being so far away from home for so long. The dreaminess and poetic filmmaking of Tarkovsky just really resonates with me everytime I watch his work. Loved it.
Woah. I had heard about this for years. This story is harrowing and almost unbelievable. Well-made documentary. Very sweet, ultimately, and very sad.
Really loved this. Really love Italy and Rome. Really love the surrealism and aesthetics of Italian filmmaking and storytelling. The last monologue made me cry. È solo un trucco
I liked this one, but not as much as I thought I would. Some incredible shots in here, though.
Noir-est of noir lol what a script
