Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection by John Green

Listened to this on audiobook. I love listening to John Green read his own work. I didn't know I enjoyed his work so much until I listened to The Anthropocene Reviewed a few months ago. His writing really emotionally affects me--was crying pretty hard by the end of this!! What an incredibly important and interesting topic

Permafrost by Eva Baltasar (tr. Julia Sanches)

Beautiful writing in this. Protagonist is blunt and sometimes too honest, but really interesting to read. "I draw away and pace up and down spiral staircases that fill me and try to communicate something to me."

Obsession (2025)

Didn't love this. Wasn't all bad, just not really my thing. Hope Ari Aster is getting the money he deserves for basically creating modern horror. Seems like all the scary movies I've seen from the past five-ish years have the same soundtrack, acting, horror gimmicks. I want novelty!! something interesting, pls
